Like I said before, Ignis figures from Jingai Makyo are popping up everywhere like mushrooms. This version will be released by Alter around September (probably in October knowing how they like to delay their releases). She'll be selling for 5800 Yen (Alter price). She looks absolutely great and looks very close to the character design from the anime. This is another nice photo set found on ebay. This figure of Asuka in her plugsuit is a 1/5 scale PVC by Alter, sculpted by Yamamoto Kurisaku. She's really huge- so the details on her are well-done and the price is higher than the usual 1/8 or 1/7 figures. Alter has also released a figure of Rei all bandaged-up from the same set but I prefer Asuka (I'm in love with her long orange/red hair).

Another great figure by Max Factory: 1/7 Ignis from the eroge Jingai Makyo (never heard of it until I searched in Google). To be released this July for about 5500 Yen (looks like I'm going to go broke this summer). This is one of those I've-got-to-buy-it-even-though-I-don't-have-a-clue-who-she-is figures. She's 1/8 PVC by Megahouse, released last week for about 5000 Yen. A full review is done by Heisei Democracy (a great blog- I got the photos from there). A very ecchi figure but not quite reaching the ero range.
