This is another figure which I bought before actually watching the anime. I roughly knew what Genshiken was about and abit of Kasukabe Saki's character. The thing which caught my eye was her cosplay costume and the chair. I think I've mentioned this millions of time; I love figures which comes with props and accessories. The helmet also comes off so you can choose whether to leave it on the ground or on Saki's head. I prefer to leave it on since her hair is really flat and it exposes too much the forehead.
Her pose is really beautiful; sitting on the chair with her legs crossed and her hands resting comfortably on her knee. At first glance, you may think that the colour scheme is totally outrageous but all the colours somehow complement each other. The shaded purple tights really goes with the pinkish ruby shoes and on top, you've got Saki's flowing blond hair (well, for those who's watched Genshiken, you'll know it's a cosplay wig).
The costume is really detailed. I like her layered gothic-ish skirt and the laces on the sides of her bustier top. The shading on the helmet and her hair/wig is well done.
The front legs of the chair is a bit weak and they kinda bend with the figure's weight. There're also 2 noticeable mold-lines on two parts of her hair which really shouldn't be there. They're real noticeable since they're basically running perpendicularly to the strands of her hair.
